Terms of Service

Last updated: July 31, 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of FUNDesk. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are using FUNDesk on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms for that organization.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the activity of users you invite to your workspace. You must provide accurate information and use the service in compliance with applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no sending of unsolicited bulk messages in violation of anti-spam laws, no attempts to breach security or access other workspaces' data, and no use that infringes the rights of others.

Your content

You own the data you put into FUNDesk. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that data so we can operate the service for you. We do not sell it, share it with other workspaces, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. You are responsible for having the right to use and store the data you upload, including donor, contact, and communications data.

Gifts are recorded, not processed

FUNDesk records the gifts your organization has already received. It does not charge donors, move money, or act as a payment processor, and it is not a substitute for your accounting system or your own review of what you report. Receipts and acknowledgments generated from a gift record are yours to check before they go out, and your organization remains responsible for their accuracy and for meeting the tax and reporting rules that apply to it.

Connected accounts

When you connect a third-party account (such as Google or Microsoft email), your use of that account remains subject to that provider's terms. Our handling of data accessed through those accounts is described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, FUNDesk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service and its users.
